Carlin Trammel currently works in the marketing department for a credit union headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida. There he produces videos, designs advertisements and runs the member survey program.
Carlin’s prior work experience includes being the digital services manager for a magazine publisher. In that role, he was responsible for bolstering the success of the websites and social presence for lifestyle and business magazines. He oversaw the team that maintained the social media accounts, updated web content, and produced new multimedia content for the web. Carlin has also worked at both a marketing agency and an art studio as a project manager. He oversaw the completion of several award-winning websites, ad campaigns, print material, brands, and social media efforts.
Carlin has also produced television commercials, promotional videos, video blogs, and audio podcasts. He has also played vital roles in his previous organizations by overseeing initiatives to implement new technologies in order to both enhance and streamline accounting, sales, and traffic data collection.
While involved with these initiatives, he became inspired to pursue his Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. His projects included completion of preliminary mobile application design, thorough usability analysis of learning management systems, and development of web-based applications. While earning his Master’s degree, Carlin also earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Architecture.
Carlin lives in Tallahassee with his wife and two children. In his free time, he produces content for a video series named Nerd Lunch Visits. If he’s not doing that, he’s probably watching his Blu-rays of The Rockford Files.
